Education:

B.S., Kyung Hee University, Suwon, Gyeonggi-do, Republic of Korea, 2017

Research:

I am advancing preclinical multi-scale dosimetry in radiopharmaceutical therapy using the Monte Carlo simulation platform RAPID. My work integrates nuclear medicine imaging modalities (µPET/CT and µSPECT/CT) with the ionizing-radiation Quantum Imaging Detector (iQID). Ultimately, I aim to evaluate dose heterogeneity impacts by correlating absorbed dose distributions with biological responses such as immunogenic and bystander effects.

Future plans:

I am pursuing a PhD in Medical Physics and plan to apply to a therapeutic residency program after graduation. My long-term goal is to contribute to cancer treatment by applying dosimetric simulation techniques within radiation oncology, including radiopharmaceutical therapy.

When not in the lab:

Usually, I enjoy hip-hop music, sketching, coffee, working out, and hanging out with friends. When I have time, I also enjoy sipping different activities like snowboarding, ice skating, and biking, as well as trying new experiences like traveling, paragliding, and skydiving.
